Police Blotter: Hit and Run Victim Gets a Note, Auto Burglars Get a Dell

Monday, April 30

6:07 a.m., Hillsdale Boulevard: Tools valued at approximately $5,000 were stolen from a construction site sometime after 2:30 p.m. on April 27.

9:12 a.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard: Vandals spray painted a company vehicle sometime over the weekend.

4:46 p.m., Ultimate Marketing on Chess Drive: Unspecified marketing materials valued at $971 were stolen.

6:55 p.m. , East Hillsdale Boulevard: Vandals smashed in the rear window of a parked car but didn't take anything. The incident occurred sometime between 5:30 and 8:45 p.m.

Tuesday, May 1

7:24 a.m., Pilgrim Drive: Ten solar pathway lights were stolen from a front yard sometime after 8 p.m. on Monday.

6:14 p.m., Bonita Lane: Vandals slashed the tire of a parked car sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and 1 p.m. on Friday.

6:54 p.m., Swordfish Street: Two decorative lights were stolen from a from a home's front lawn sometime in the morning.

10:55 p.m., Shell Boulevard: An Oakland resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Aire Johnson, 25, was taken to county jail.

 

Wednesday, May 2

2:07 p.m., Taco Bell on Triton Drive: A hit and run driver in a tan Mitsubishi caused unspecified damage to a parked car. A witness left a note on the victim's car describing the incident and assailant.

 

Thursday, May 3

2:13 p.m., El Torito on Vintage Park Drive: Burglars smashed in the window of a parked car, stealing a Dell laptop and a computer bag. The incident occurred after 1 p.m.
