Police Blotter: Dog Brawlers Deny Injuries; BYU Fan Gets His Jacket Back

The following information was supplied by the Foster City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday Nov. 23

9:19 a.m., Carina Lane: A catalytic converter was stolen from vehicle parked in a carport between 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 18 and 3:30 p.m. the next day.

3:45 p.m., Civic Center Drive and Shell Boulevard: A Foster City man was arrested for driving under the influence. Donald Kuegler, 52, was taken to First Chance, a treatment center in San Carlos.

10:15 p.m., Arco station on East Hillsdale Boulevard: An Oakland woman was arrested on an outstanding $20,000 warrant for obstructing an Oakland police officer. Trinian Taylor, 39, was taken to county jail.

Thursday, Nov. 24

3:16 a.m., Bounty Drive and Foster City Boulevard: A Foster City woman was arrested for driving under the influence. Maxim Solomka, 24, was taken to First Chance.

1:19 p.m., Sea Cloud Park on Sea Cloud Drive: Police found a person wearing a stolen Brigham Young University sports jacket with a “Y” emblem within 90 minutes of the owner reporting the incident.

2:41 p.m., Foster City Boulevard: A Canon laser jet printer and a DVD player were stolen from a storage locker sometime after Nov. 21.

4:35 p.m., Dog park on Foster City Boulevard: A fight between two dogs escalated into a four-person brawl when the owners got involved, but all involved parties told police nobody was hurt.

5:18 p.m., Jibstay Lane: A Scotts Valley man was arrested on an outstanding $15,000 warrant for drug possession and other unspecified charges after police received reports alleging he was threatening others. William Reason, 30, was held in police custody.

 

Friday, Nov. 25

10:27 p.m., Orchard Supply Hardware at Metro Center Boulevard: A Burlingame man was arrested for public drunkenness. John Johnson, 47, was taken to First Chance.

 

Saturday, Nov. 26

12:45 a.m., Metro Center Boulevard and Highway 92: A San Leandro woman was arrested on an outstanding $5,000 warrant for forgery in Alameda County. Felicia Brown, 37, was cited and released.

11:58 p.m., Recreation Center on Shell Boulevard: A San Mateo man was arrested for reckless driving. Samuel Halbert, 18, was cited and released.

 

Sunday, Nov. 27

12:42 a.m., Foster City Boulevard: A juvenile arrested for driving under the influence was released in the custody of a parent.

1:13 p.m., McDonald’s on Triton Drive: A fixed-gear bicycle was stolen by three middle-aged Hispanic men last seen driving southbound on Pilgrim Avenue. One of the thieves was wearing a gray beanie, and another a United States Marine Corps t-shirt.
