Police Blotter: Car Crashes into Carl's Jr., Woman Gives Husband Drink with Suspicious Substance

The following information was supplied by the Foster City police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday

7:32 a.m., Farragut Boulevard: Man reported that his vehicle was stolen and has surveillance tape showing a subject driving off with the car. Video captured two male suspects of an unknown race with an associated dark four door vehicle with silver rims.  A report was taken. 

8:08 a.m., Decatur and Bainbridge: A resident reported a vehicle on crates with the tires and wheels missing. Determined to be the vehicle stolen from Farragut.

12:29 p.m., Menhaden Court: A woman requested assistance with mediation between her housekeeper and a reposession company attempting to repo a car. Situation resolved prior to officers' arrvial.

Saturday

3:34 a.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard and Meridian Bay Lane: Leo Solari of Redwood City was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of alcohol under the age of 21 years. Subject was transported to First Chance. 

9:40 a.m., Lakeside Drive: A man reported that Valleycrest Landscaping had equipment taken from their truck while working in the area. Taken were two Echo leaf blowers, Honda lawn mower, Stihl hedge- trimmer and Stihl weed eater. No one was seen in the area. Total loss approx $3,000. A report was taken.

9:41 a.m., Peninsula Jewish Community Center: A resident reported a mother duck and her ducklings attempting to cross Foster City Boulevard and the resident is concerned they would get hit. Ducks made it to the PJCC parking lot and are fine.

10:53 a.m., East Third Avenue: A resident's landscape company trailer had a black and red Shindaiwa T242 weed eater taken from it. Unknown if it was locked. A report was taken. 

1:43 p.m., Carl's Jr. Restaurant on Triton Drive: Vehicle drove into the wall of Carl's Jr. Fire & medics respond to attend to two minor injuries. Building inpsector & AAA tow also respond. Building was deemed safe and collision report taken. 

9:55 p.m., Metro Center Boulevard and Vintage Park Drive: Jerry L. Sandberg of Pacifica was arrested and booked into the County Jail for an outstanding $5000 felony warrant held by the Otero County Sheriff's Office in Colorado for criminal mischief.

10:55 p.m., Scorpio Lane: A man reported that his wife gave him a drink with suspicious substance floating in it, and when he asked about it, she snatched it from him and poured it away. No crime occurred and advice was rendered for a civil matter.

Sunday

11:29 a.m., Homestead Suites: Suspect in earlier hit and run located. Subject Jerald Wilson was transported to first chance for DUI. 

10:18 p.m., Promontory Point Lane: Man reported that he gave his ex-girlfriend his house key to retrieve her belongings, but having got her belongings is now refusing to return the key. Voicemail left for the key-holding subject, advice rendered to the man.
