Police Blotter: Car Burglars Grab $35k in Jewelry Outside Foster City Gym

6:57 p.m., Foster City Athletic Club on Chess Drive: Burglars broke through glass windows in two cars, stealing jewelry valued at $35,000, credit cards and cash from one vehicle, but didn’t take anything from the other car.

Thursday, March 1
7:52 a.m., Beach Park Boulevard: Burglars broke through the rear passenger window of a parked car, stealing clothing, perfume and coins valued at $100.

9:14 a.m., Metro Center Boulevard and Shell Boulevard: A Foster City resident was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving. Peyvand Pourhosseini, 49, was cited and released.
11:53 a.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard: A Daly City man was arrested on an outstanding warrant out from the San Francisco Police Department. Quincy Lewis, 32, was booked into county jail.
