Police Blotter: $15K in Jewelry Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Foster City police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday

2:01 p.m., Wierder Pier: Contact made with juveniles possibly fishing.

5:10 p.m., Pensacola: Break in made via forced rear sliding door. Taken was a safe containing jewelry valued at approx $15,000 and misc personal paperwork. A report was taken.

6:41 p.m., Lantern Cove on Rock Harbor Lane: Resident was walking her dog one way on the trail, when she went back she noticed tagging on the sound wall. She reported that two juveniles in the area were responsible but she did not actually see them. Suspects were described as a female wearing a pink jacket and a male wearing a black baseball cap, black hoodie. Both in their late teens. She back, said that both juveniles left going separate ways. Graffiti was located on the sound wall adjacent to the freeway and determined to be San Mateo's or CHP's jurisdiction.

8:11 p.m., Windjammer Circle: A bike was taken from an open garage. Bike was a silver women's 28 speed GT Laguna mountain bike valued at $300. A report was taken.
