Pedestrian Killed By Caltrain in San Bruno

The incident happened Wednesday morning.

Caltrain was running limited service after a train in San Bruno fatally struck a pedestrian Wednesday morning, according to a Caltrain spokeswoman.

All southbound passengers out of San Francisco were advised to travel on BART as far as the Millbrae station and then transfer to Caltrain for the remainder of their commute, according to Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn. 

Dunn said at about 5:20 a.m a train fatally struck a pedestrian. According to Dunn, the incident occurred on the railroad tracks between South Linden Avenue and Scott Street in San Bruno, about a mile north of the San Bruno Caltrain station.

The incident remains under investigation.
