Friday

12:30 a.m., Highway 92 and Metro Center Boulevard: Police arrested Felicia Marhx, 32, a Hayward resident, on suspicion of drunken driving.

8:27 a.m., , Chess Drive: Someone spray-painted the word "look" and a smiling face in black and red on a wall under the Vintage Park overpass.

10:11 a.m., Thatcher Lane: A resident reported that an AT&T truck had been parked in the area for more than an hour, which seemed suspicious because of recent residential burglaries in the area.

12:47 p.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard: Police cited and released Erik Mendoza, 20, a San Mateo resident, for driving without a license. Police left his car legally parked.

6:51 p.m., , Edgwater Boulevard: Police cited and released Jesus Valdez-Saille, 29, a Hayward resident, on suspicion of driving without a license.

7:12 p.m., , Foster City Boulevard: AN older white male was reportedly filling up his white van with compost, before the free compost give-away. Police made contact and told him to come back on Saturday for the event.

12:30 a.m., Highway 92 and Metro Center Boulevard: Police arrested Felicia Marhx, 32, a Hayward resident, on suspicion of drunken driving.

Saturday

12:18 p.m., Highway 92 and Chess Drive: Police arrested Arthur Vaka, 34, a San Jose resident, on an outstanding $2,500 warrant for reckless driving.

11:59 a.m., Windsurfer Park, East Third Avenue: Someone reported that a white male in his late 40s, wearing a gold chain, jeans and a white T-shirt, was walking a brown and black dog without a leash. Police could not locate the man.

2:28 p.m., Regulus: An unknown suspect smashed a glass sliding door and ransacked a house. The suspect then stole cash, jewelry and coins worth $22,000.

4:35 p.m., , Edgewater Boulevard: Police arrested William Toryanoski, 48, a Copperopolis resident, on suspicion of drunken driving.

6:15 p.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard and Gull Avenue: Police cited and released Santiago Andrade, 42, a Hayward resident, on suspicion of driving without a license.

11:45 p.m., Comet Drive: A resident called 911 and told a dispatcher that he felt weird after being around some friends who were smoking marijuana. Medics took the man to a hospital for evaluation.

Sunday

12:33 a.m., Highway 92 and Chess Drive: Police arrested Ruth Lopez, 36, a Hercules resident, on suspicion of drunken driving.

8:24 a.m., , East Hillsdale Boulevard: Someone reported that a chihuahua was loose in the lagoon. Police contacted the owner and brought the dog.

2:52 p.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard: A resident came to the police to ask advice about an unpaid loan.The person told police police that the lender was now threatening the reporting party.

5 p.m., Comet Drive: Someone reported that two of his car tires were slashed by an unknown suspect.

6:19 p.m., Tradewinds Apartments, Polynesia Drive: Someone told police that a group of three juveniles who "habitually" climb the carports and thrown things are again on the carports. They were gone when police arrived.

Monday

7:42 a.m., Chess Drive, San Mateo: Police cited and released Luis Palomino, 32, a Stockton resident, on suspicion of driving without a license.

10:47 a.m., Tender Lane: A burglary alarm triggered and officers located an unlocked door. They searched, but the resident reported that nothing was missing.

3:40 p.m., Tradewinds Apartments, Polynesia Drive: An apartment manager reported that same group of juveniles are again jumping on the carports and throwing things, apparently garbage, from the tops. Police contacted two of the juveniles and called their parents, who came to pick them up.

6:10 p.m., East Hillsdale Boulevard: A resident reported that his friend was possibly suicidal and suffers from depression and emotional disorders. No drugs or alcohol were involved. The person apparently sent his friend a text message describing his decision to end his life. Police contacted the man and he seemed safe. Police did not take him to the hospital
