Friday

12:31 am, Baffin Bowsprit Lane: A man was reportedly passed out behind the wheel of a silver car with the door open and the dome light on. Police later determined he was sleeping.

7:57 am, Promontory Point Lane: Police assisted the Foster City Fire Department with an emergency call.

9:07 am, Marlin Avenue: An unknown suspect stole an estimated $122 worth of UPS packages containing children's clothing and toys taken from from porch on December 16th.

12:09 pm, on Foster City Boulevard: A driver accidentally left a car trunk open Thursday night and an unknown person stole $200 worth of items, including cameras and canvas shopping bags taken.

1:20 pm, Elite Fitness on Shell Boulevard: Police assisted the Foster City Fire Department in freeing a person who was stuck in an elevator.

7:17 pm, Haylard and Timberhead Lanes: A resident reported that a man in his early 20s, who he was following in a car when he made the call, was soliciting money for college. The man lost sight of the suspicious man before police arrived.

9:57 pm, on Foster City Boulevard: Someone reported that a group of teens were throwing furniture into the pool. Police later determined that there was no damage to the pool or the furniture and officer detained the teens and released them to their parents.

10:35 pm, East Third Avenue and Detroit: Karen Bowman, 48 and a Redwood City resident, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and transported to First Chance.

Saturday

12:22 am, on East HIllsdale Boulevard: Damien Kama, 27 and a San Mateo resident, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license.

1:56 pm, Sea Cloud Park on Sea Cloud Drive: A miniature pincher dog was hit by a car as it ran into the street. The driver was later contacted and was unaware of incident. Animal control retrieved the dog.

4:46 pm,  on Edgewater Boulevard: A woman reported that she and her cousin were being stared at and followed by a man in his 70's. Police contacted the man, who said he thought he knew one of the girls. Determined to be a misunderstanding.

5:01 pm, on Ketch Court:  Someone reported that two mothers were letting their young children draw on the sidewalk with chalk. Sidewalk was not damaged and police contacted the reporting party, but the mothers were gone when officers arrived.

11:24 pm, on Metro Center Boulevard: San Mateo residet Gerardo Barron, 33, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and transported to First Chance.

Sunday

4:01 am, Edgewater Boulevard: A woman told police that her friend was causing a disturbance in her home and that she kicked him out.

12 pm, Cityhomes Lane: A resident reported that someone on Jan. 6 stole a package from door step that contained an Amazon Kindle valued at $200.

3:05 pm, Cityhomes Lane: A man reported that his wife's purse containing identification and hard drive containing immigration paperwork was stolen while in Bangkok. She is still there and has reported it to local police, but the man wanted to report the case locally too.

3:29 pm, on Edgewater Boulevard: A heavyset man was reportedly walking with three unleashed dogs.

8:39 pm, East HIllsdale Boulevard: A neighbor reported that a nearby dog had been barking for a long time. Police contacted the owners, who brought the dog inside.

11:18 pm, Foster City Boulevard and Balclutha Drive: Hayward resident Jibaro Ragland, 31, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded on a 30-day hold by Palm Avenue Towing.

 Monday

 2:58 am, on East Hillsdale Boulevard: Police located a man who was reported missing out of San Mateo and cited him for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

10:27 am, Hatch Drive: A resident reported a hole in sidewalk, possibly missing top to sewer. Police notified the public works department.

11:35 am, Metro Center and Edgewater Boulevards: Police cited Samuel Higgins, 18, for driving on the wrong side of the road.

3:01 pm, on Foster City Boulevard: Someone reported that man with a laptop had a long antennae that extended into the lagoon. Other people told the police that is a surveyor.

5:22 pm, Launderland on Shell Boulevard: A patron was reportedly harassing a woman's "mentally challenged" daughter.

8:26 pm, on Polynesia Drive: A resident heard suspicious hammering sounds from an open door and called police. It turned out to be contractors working. Three hours later, someone reported that the crew was still working and police advised of the city ordinance and they stopped.
