A judge has confirmed a June trial date for a 18-year-old Foster City man accused of entering female victims' rooms late at night and attempting to assault them.

Justin Shing, who is out of custody on $100,000 bail bond, will go to trial on June 24, a day before he turns 19, for allegedly breaking into Foster City residents' homes and peeping at them in the middle of the night, San Mateo County Superior Court Judge Jonathan Karesh confirmed Tuesday.

Shing pleaded not guilty in January to charges of residential burglary, peeping, sexual battery and possession of burglary tools, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office.

He was arrested on Aug. 25 at about 3:10 a.m., on suspicion of residential burglary, according to the Foster City Police Department.

Prosecutors say Shing is responsible for at least two other incidents involving breaking in or peeping into a victim's bedroom.

In the first incident, Shing is accused of looking in the window of a 17-year-old female neighbor at 2 a.m.; in the second case, he allegedly entered the same girl's bedroom past midnight while she was sleeping, pulled back her comforter and masturbated over her.

According to prosecutors, the third incident -- which led to Shing's arrest -- involved Shing being found in the room of a 9-year-old girl at about 3 a.m.

The girl's father found Shing in his daughter's room, staring at her bed, prosecutors said. The father grabbed Shing and called police.

Shing has been ordered to have no contact with the victims.
