Crime Blotter: Man Punches Motion Sensor Faucet, Teens Light Small Fires at Boothbay Park

Monday

1:28 a.m., Edgewater Boulevard: Police arrested Amanda Castillo, 25, a San Francisco resident, on suspicion of drunken driving.

9:14 a.m., Chess Drive: A heavy-set man punched and broke a motion sensor faucet in a men's bathroom worth more than $600.

12:09 p.m., Loon Court: Someone reported receiving a phone call from a fraudulent check-cashing company.

2:57 p.m., Rock Harbor Lane: A maintenance worker who was fixing a washer / dryer got into an argument with the female tenant and bumped her shoulder as he was leaving the unit.

6:13 p.m., , Boothbay Avenue: Someone saw two young teenagers, possibly on bikes, lighting some small fires on the worth side of the play structure and sitting in the swings. Firefighters and police responded to the scene, but the two teens were already gone.

9:12 p.m., Foster City Boulevard: A woman returned home and found her front door partially open, but found nothing suspicious in the home.

Tuesday

7:59 a.m., : Police took a report on possibly juvenile neglect and cruelty.

9:17 a.m., Digital Mountain, Pilgrim Drive: An unknown suspect broke into a commercial building, rifled through some desks and then stole three laptops and a digital projector.

1:28 p.m., : Police cited and released Maria Raneses, 28, a South San Francisco resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

4:36 p.m., Promotory Point Lane: Police recovered a car that had been stolen two weeks ago.

7:18 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: Two men were going door-to-door in a truck with "Prime Meats" on the side selling meat and chicken. Police alerted of the ordinance prohibiting solicitation without a permit.

Wednesday

10:54 a.m., , Beach Park Boulevard: A seemingly suspicious person wearing a black hood was walking around the complex. Police determined the person was waiting for the bus.

12:45 p.m., Metro Center Boulevard: Someone reported losing a T-Mobile cell phone that was later used to call Mexico and Los Angeles.

2:18 p.m., Essex Lane: A resident called police to report some mail that seemed like a scam.

7:08 p.m., Stilt Court: A woman asked police to help her remove her husband from their home. He was leaving when officers arrived.

10:45 p.m., , Chess Drive: Police cited and released Maynard Bumagat, 41, a Hayward resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Thursday

8:11 a.m., Gloucester Lane: A woman told police that her son was getting disturbing messages from a classmate.

10:37 a.m., Sea Spray Lane: A woman received a call form someone in Jamaica who demanded she wire $2,970 via a Sears store in order to keep her son from going to jail.

7:39 p.m., Foster City Boulevard: A juvenile told police that his older brother was threatening him. Their mother arrived on scene and declined police assistance and the older son had already left the area.

9:57 p.m., Main Street: Police arrested Elsi Lopez, 26, on  $10,000 warrant out of San Mateo County for a past drunken driving charge.
