Blotter: Arson at Gull Park, Car Shot With BB Gun

Friday

1:39 a.m., , East Hillsdale Boulevard: Police arrested Alenjandro Flores, 26, a Redwood City resident, on a $7,500 misdemeanor warrant out of San Mateo and a $538 infraction warrant out of Redwood City.

7:32 a.m., , Gull Avenue: A city worker found $100 in arson damage in a public men's restroom.

12:03 p.m., Barkentine, Beach Park Boulevard: Police cited Antonio Mendoza, 29, a Sunnyvale resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license while he was driving a company car.

1:02 p.m., Matsonia Drive: A man asked to speak to a police officer about what he believes is a conspiracy between several banking institutions and the judicial system.

7:18 a.m., Edgewater Boulevard: A man reportedly grabbed a bottle of infant formula from a store and tried to run. When confronted by a worker, he apparently reached inside his jacket as if to draw a weapon. He brandished nothing, however, and fled in Honda-like four-door coup.

 Saturday

2:58 a.m., Swordfish: A man heard loud bangs from a house behind hims and told police they sounded like gun shots. Police later determined the neighbor was using an air gun to scare crows away from his yard. 

8:31 p.m., Beach Park Boulevard: An unknown suspect shot and damaged the rear window of a man's van with a BB gun.

8:59 p.m., Port Royal Avenue: A resident reported credit card fraud that reportedly happened in San Mateo.

Sunday

12:09 a.m., Vespucci Lane and Balboa: Police responded to reports of a loud party, but it was quiet when officers arrived.

2:24 a.m., Beach Park Boulevard: Someone saw a sick or dead shark on the rocks and flagged down an officer to report it.

3:13 p.m., , Metro Center Boulevard: A woman was pushing a baby stroller and asking customers for money.

5:13 p.m., Metro Center and Foster City Boulevards: A man who was towing some jet skis caused an accident when the trailer overturned and jet skis collided with some other cars. No one was injured.

9:24 p.m., Monterey Avenue and Edgewater Boulevard: Someone driving an old-model car, possibly a Camaro, was speeding on the wrong side of the road and blasting loud music.

Monday

4 a.m., Bonita Lane: A man called police, screaming that an intruder was in his house. Police later determined the man was in an argument with a houseguest, who later left in a cab.

11:56 a.m., Beach Park and Edgewater Boulevards: A woman told police that an erratic driver almost and then sped off. Police could not locate the driver.

5:56 p.m., Nimitz Lane: Police arrested Jeffrey Carlson, 48, on suspicion of violating an emergency protection order after he showed up at a woman's home.

10:57 p.m., Montego Lane: A woman called police to report that several dogs started barking in her cul-de-sac and then she heard footsteps on her roof. Police determined it was a raccoon.
