UPDATE: All Lanes Open After Crash on San Mateo Bridge

Initial reports indicated three vehicles were involved, including an airport shuttle.

UPDATE 9:28 A.M.

All lanes of westbound state Highway 92 on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge have reopened after a crash blocked traffic for about an hour and a half Wednesday morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The accident was reported at 7:25 a.m. just west of the toll plaza, CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.

Initial reports indicated that three vehicles were involved. A Sig-alert was issued just before 8 a.m. The lanes reopened at about 8:50 a.m., Bartlett said.

The two right lanes of westbound state Highway 92 on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge were blocked Wednesday morning because of a crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident was reported at 7:25 a.m. just west of the toll plaza.

A Sig-alert was issued just before 8 a.m. There was no estimated time when the roadway would reopen, according to 511.org.
