Victim of A Crime in Foster City? Your Not In Kansas Anymore

Crime in Foster City - Don't be a Victim

last week there were eight cars burglarized in one day in Foster City, according to the Police log. A home invasion also occurred in our fair community in the same week.

On Thursday afternoon in Foster City, I was a victim of a crime for the first time in my life. In the middle of the afternoon, at the Dog Park in Foster City, someone broke the passenger side of my vehicle, in plain sight and burglarized my car. It could have been worse, however, it was shocking. Within an hour the thieves had used 2 of my credit cards and had a field day with my gas card.

How could this happen? I was foolish enough to leave my purse in the car in plan sight. When the Police Officer arrived he was gracious enough not to lecture and just took the report.

The good news is that the word spread amongst the regulars at the dog park and are on the look out for any suspicious people loitering around the vehicles.

Locking your car may not be enough, however don't do what I did, it was really not very smart.
