Driver violates pedestrians on crossing on the crosswalk!

My kids ride their bikes to Bowditch Middle School via the bay trail and cross the crosswalk on Beach Park and Swordfish. This morning, Aug 29, 2013 a woman came inches from striking my kids with her car as they were crossing on the crosswalk. I am witness to it because I also ride my bike with my kids and watch as they cross that busy intersection.

I managed to stop and inform the woman that it's the law to stop for pedestrians at the crosswalk. She claimed she did not see the crosswalk. I rode to examine the area and feel it should be repainted with beacon signals to avoid any future incidents.

I feel the crosswalks on Beach Park Blvd/Swordfish and Beach Park Blvd/Tarpoon need to be repainted with beacon signals.
