Best Photos of the Week – From You!

Up and down the Peninsula, readers have been sending photos to accompany news articles that Patch staff have written. Check ‘em out.

It was a busy week on the Peninsula, from the Endeavour space shuttle flying over the Peninsula to lines wrapping around Apple stores in anticipation of the iPhone 5 to Occupy’s one year anniversary.

We really appreciate all your contributions and fantastic photos that you send us every week. Patch is your platform to share photos and stories with your friends and family.

Every Sunday, we’ll do a wrap-up of best Photos of the Week from users like you. Just submit them using the “Pics and Clips” button in the toolbar at the top of this page and see if your photos make it next week!

I do not remember rescuing people from a fire but did have a house fire in San Carlos. Thanks! Sadly she passed away two years ago but had a long and happy life.

I'm sorry to hear that. She was a great teacher. I still have report cards where she comments, "George is constantly talking." The fire was in Belmont near Carlmont-an apartment fire. Do you have a brother or other relative that lived here then? I remember because your mom came to the ceremony.

Might of been my brother Joel Sawacki. I'll have to ask him about that. Thanks! That is funny I bet your being repaid with report cards from your own kids.
