Weather, Whether or Not!

Warm Days and Weather

I love the Northern California weather. It is a welcome departure from the heat and cold of the East Coast, and a variety of countries I have lived in. But every so often I long for a hot summer day to bask in the eternal rays of the sun that gives me that healthy summer glow. So this week has been a welcome reminder of what I though California weather would be like when I relocated here 15 years ago.

The warmer days have inspired almost everyone to use our parks and trails to run, bike, or just hang out and enjoy a picnic. This morning I watched several different groups of older Chinese women doing their morning Tai Chi exercises in Boothbay, Port Royal, and Farragut Parks. My son and I, sat and watched as we took a much needed water brake during our daily morning bike ride. The women moved slowly under the shade of one of the thousands of trees. (Yes thousands, every tree has been cataloged by Foster City Park and Recreation Dept.).

We added a stop by Port Royal pool and enjoy the cool water and warm families.
