Passion in Foster City

The days seem to fly by. Everyday I walk the streets and knock on the doors of our neighbors and friends. I want to hear their thoughts on our wonderful City. I hear the good and I hear about the challenges and concerns. I listen and jot down notes that I read when I return home.

After I put our children to bed and sit down with my wife, I take out my notes and chat with her about your thoughts. We talk about the overcrowding in our schools. We speak about our seniors and their needs. We speak about the 15-acre development. Finally we speak about the structural budget deficit and our Foster City quality of life.

There is one constant in everyone I meet. It is passion. A passion for our City, what it was, what it is, and more importantly what it can be.

Each of us has invested in our community and in its future. We have invested in its promise of continued prosperity and financial well-being. We have invested in the belief that we live in a special place where our children will be nurtured and educated so that they can realize the dream and future of their choosing. We invested in the strength of purpose that allows us to create a community-solution where our seniors can age in place and remain in the community they have forged.

More now than ever I stand committed to serving our community for the voices I have heard and the residents I have met.  Together we can continue to make our City better for our families, our children, and our seniors. Thank you for taking the time to vote.
