I have had the distinct pleasure to serve our wonderful community in several capacities. Currently I serve as the Chairman of the Park and Recreation Committee and have served on the Education Committee as well. I am a citizen and a business owner as well as a homeowner and parent. I shop locally and frequent our restaurants. I do this because Family Matters. I want our community to foster economic and communal success while maintaining the quality of life that brought our extended family of five families to settle her in Foster City. It is a place unlike any other on the peninsula.
It is time for the village and the community to step up and find solutions for the challenges of our structural deficit. It will not be enough to simply cut the current budget of wait out the storm. More than ever we will need local businesses and individuals to step up to support the much needed programs including our schools crossing guards, senior bus service, and other programs that in more prosperous times where offered and sustained.
Safety and quality of life are some of the key reasons young families choose to join our community.

As a citizen and business owner, I have reached out to the Chamber of Commerce, FC Park and Recreation, and the City Manager to offer to develop a like-minded group of individuals who would be willing to invigorate the community to develop these source of much-needed donations.
As a young athlete my Olympic coach said lead by example, and I share that philosophy daily. So lets all roll up our sleeves and lead by example.
