We recently began to see how the amount of money in politics and the power large corporations throw around to overcome laws that we passed to protect our environment; keep our food and water safe; keep our families safe and healthy; and determine our election results.
We are meeting to plan an education campaign that leads to passage of resolutions in communities in San Mateo County calling for a constitutional amendment to abolish the Supreme Court created “doctrine” of corporate personhood and that money is not speech.
