“…a thrilling theatrical achievement that gets its power from the still sharp relevance of its human

message…” —NY Post

“…a lesson in history, stagecraft, and truth that we cannot afford not to learn.” —NY Magazine.

Frank Galati’s The Grapes of Wrath is a powerful and deeply moving
stage version of one of the masterworks of American literature. Set
during the Great Depression, John Steinbeck’s Pulitzer Prize winning
story of the Joad family and their journey from the dust bowl fields of
Oklahoma to the farmlands of California, in search of jobs and a future,
has become a testament to the strength of the human spirit.  It is an
inspiring tale of courage and the persistence to survive against
insurmountable odds – a timeless message that still holds true today as
the novel celebrates its 75th Anniversary.
