Planning Commission Special Study Session on the 15-Acres

The Foster City Planning Commission will hold a Special Study Session on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 7:00p.m., to review and consider proposed guidelines for landscaping and public open space at the 15-Acre site - APN 094-471-100 – GP-12-001, EA-12-002, RZ-12-001, RS-12-002 and DA-12-003.


SAID Study Session will be held in the Foster City Council Chambers, 620 Foster City Blvd., Foster City, California. The Study Session will be televised live and will be recorded and replayed on Foster City TV, Channel 27 and AT&T Channel 99.


PROJECT LOCATION: The site is located in Neighborhood 1 between the City’s Government Center and the North Peninsula Jewish Community Center. The site is bounded by Foster City Boulevard to the north, Shell Boulevard to the south, Balclutha Drive to the east and Civic Center Drive to the west.


CEQA COMPLIANCE: Pursuant to and in accordance with Section 15164 of the California Government Code of Regulations/Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act, an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) will be prepared for the proposed project.


THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PROVIDE COMMENTS ON THE LANDSCAPE AND OPEN SPACE GUIDELINES.


NO DECISIONS WILL BE SOUGHT OR MADE REGARDING APPROVAL OF THE PROJECT.


DOCUMENT AVAILABILITY: Copies of the staff reports and all documents related to the 15-Acre site will be available after February 15, 2013 for public review Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., at the City of Foster City Community Development Department, 610 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City, California 94404. Information regarding the project and Study Session Staff Report will be available on the City’s website at www.fostercity.org.
