Free Youth and Drug Awareness Presentation for Parents and Teachers

Committed to the strengthening of families and communities, The Foster City Youth and Teen Foundation, Foster City Police Department, and the Foster City Library present the Foster City Family Enrichment Series.  


The next FREE workshop in the series is presented by the San Mateo County Narcotics Task Force and the topic will be street drugs that are common in our community.  This presentation will inform you on how to recognize use and abuse.  You will also learn about:

  • How to identify drugs

  • Methods of ingestion

  • Paraphernalia associated with drug use

  • What students/teens are using

  • How students buy and sell drugs

  • How and where they hide drugs

  • Strategies to use with your teenagers to keep them safe


Attendees will have the opportunity to get all their questions answered at this worthwhile workshop.  Please note that the presentation is intended for parents, teachers, school administrators, and youth workers and will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Foster City Teen Center (670 Shell Boulevard).
