Session 1           Basics of Computers            


What You Need To Know



Attachments:   Learn how to attached files, documents, pictures, etc.


Email:    The basis of how to send emails


Cut and Paste    Learn how to cut and paste excerpts, etc from and onto documents


Copy     Basic concept of copying all or parts of documents


Save       Saving to prevent document loss


Save As    Naming documents to make them identifiable


Create Folders Filing documents in electronic folders


Create Files   Concept of file creation


Security Programs         Learn to secure your computer from document corruption and hackers


Flash drives    Learn how to save and carry your documents with you on flash drives


Back Up   Learn how to back your documents up




Session 2           Pictures/Music


Adobe               Overarching uses of Adobe products


Photo Shop Elements     Learn to edit photos


Picasa      Learn to house photos on Google’s Picasa


Loading to computer     Upload programs and files onto your computer


Itunes    How to create and manage your music, videos, books, etc. on iTunes



Session 3           Social Media


Skype  Learn to do free live video chatting with friends and family


Facebook   Learn to connect with friends and family on Facebook


Twitter  Connect with the world on Twitter


YouTube   Watch and/or load videos and create your own YouTube channels

What’s line dancing? An hour of fun, a new dance
a week, a great way to exercise, all kinds of music and no partner needed!
