Celebrate the holiday season by decorating your ‘water craft’ and joining in the Boat Parade of Lights during the Foster City Parks and Recreation Department Annual Tree Lighting!

ElectraCraft Boats and the Foster City Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring the Boat Parade of Lights on Wednesday, December 5th at 5:30pm.  Let your creative juices flow, and whether it is one strand of lights or 100, help light up our lagoon with holiday spirit during the Annual Tree Lighting and arrival of Santa at the Foster City Recreation Center. All water crafts are welcome to participate in the Boat Parade of Lights….paddleboards, paddleboats, canoes, kayaks, sailboats, and electric boats!  Awards will be presented after the arrival of Santa for the Best Theme, Best Special Effects, and Most Original.

No electric power on your craft?  No problem!… ‘cigarette lighter’ inverters for your electric boat are readily available at retail stores as well as solar and battery powered holiday lights for people- and wind-powered craft. For more information about the Boat Parade of Lights and entry details contact Patti Styka, 650.867.6030 or patti@styka.net
