5th Annual San Mateo Chili Cook Off

San Mateo Firefighters will hold their 5th Annual Chili Cook Off benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Satrurday, August 24th, from 11am-5pm at Central Park in downtown San Mateo! Every dollar raised helps Local 2400 firefighters provide medical treatment and support services to individuals and their families living with neuromuscular diseases in San Mateo County and the Greater Bay Area.

More than ten different fire departments from arounf the bay area come together to test their best chili recipes and face off in a friendly competition at the anual fundraiser to support MDA's vital research programs and the Association's 200 medical clinics nationwide. It's a family event and for a great cause too! Bring your family and friends and enjoy the muscial quest Club 90 all day at the park while you sample chili, play games, and help give back to your bay are neighbors living with muscle disease. Admission is $10 per person, kids under 12 are fee, there will also be a special kids zone with a dunk tank and mega slide to enjoy!
