What are Your Earliest Dick Clark Memories?

Dick Clark died today at age 82. Share your "American Bandstand" or "New Years' Rockin' Eve" memories here.

For those of us old enough to remember the days of "American Bandstand," Dick Clark was a familiar and friendly face who brought us our first taste of rock-n-roll, and who taught us it was okay to dance in our living rooms.

Clark died of a massive heart attack on Wednesday at St. John's Hospital in Los Angeles.

Known as "America's Oldest Teenager," Clark defied his age with his youthful good looks and his boundless energy--even making recent appearances on "New Years' Rockin' Eve" despite having a stroke in 2004.
