Off-Leash Hours Available for Dog Owners

Dogs may be off-leash during all open hours inside the Foster City Dog Park.

The Parks and Recreation Department continues to offer off-leash hours for dogs at several city parks.

Boothbay, Catamaran, Edgewater, Farragut, and Sea Cloud Parks have off-leash hours from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. daily. Sea Cloud Park has extended hours from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. daily.

"During designated off-leash hours, dogs may be exercised off-leash but dog owners must remain in control of their dogs at all times and must clean up after their dogs," the city said in a statement.

Dogs may also be off-leash inside the Foster City Dog Park, located at the corner of Bounty Drive and Foster City Boulevard.

"The Department of Parks and Recreation asks that dog owners who use the parks be courteous, kind and respectful of other park users and follow the leash law," the city said.

For more information about off-leash hours, please visit the City of Foster City website, www.fostercity.org, or contact Director of Parks and Recreation Kevin Miller at (650) 286-3388 or kmiller@fostercity.org.
