“I’ve witnessed how much guilt and stress food can cause,” Solomon says. “As a Nutrition and Wellness Coach, it’s my goal to bridge the gaps between food, stress and the individual.”

Solomon explains that Wellness coaching serves the whole person and isn’t limited to diet.

“There are many aspects of life that nourish us, including relationships, exercise, work, and spirituality," she said. "When one of these elements is out of balance, it can take a real toll on a person's health and happiness.”

Available through appointment at the PJCC, Solomon’s services will include an introductory breakthrough strategy session to assess eating habits and personal goals, followed by optional sessions, such as:

·        One-on-one nutrition and wellness coaching

·        Personal and small-group cooking classes

·        Personal farmer's market and grocery store tours

·        Email, recipe and article exchange

Ms. Solomon attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Psychology.

She's a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Licensed by New York State Education Department. She is also a certified chef, graduating from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts Chef's Training Program in New York City , which is ACCET Accredited.
