Foster City Cub Scouts are kicking off the 2012 - 2013 year!

Join leaders from Foster City's Cub Scout Pack 447 on Monday night, Sept. 24, at the Foster City Community Center to learn how to take part in this year's Scouting adventure

Foster City Cub Scouts Pack 447 has just begun the 2012 - 2013 Scouting year and the time is right for you and your son to take part in the great adventure! If your son is in Grades 1 through 5 and between 7 and 11 years old, the Foster City Cub Scouts provide a safe, fun way to learn, grow and prepare for the future together.

Over the past year, Pack 447 has camped overnight in Boothbay Park and the Presidio in San Francisco; spent the night onboard the USS Hornet in Alameda and at the Oakland Zoo; attended special Scout nights at San Jose Sharks and San Francisco Giants games; bowled as a group; raced hand-made cars in the annual Pinewood Derby; hiked in Muir Woods and Ano Nuevo and taken part in civic activities such as the Coastal Clean-Up and collecting over 600 pounds of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Pack 447 is made up of families from all the schools within Foster City and is even drawing Scouts from San Mateo who have heard about the active nature of the Pack. With Scouts of all ages involved, your son is sure to have friends, neighbors and family who are already part of the program.
