Woman's Health Event Comes to Foster City

The 1st Annual FFIT Fearless & Savvy Woman’s Event features keynote speaker Melissa Tosetti, author of Living the Savvy Life.

The features keynote speaker Melissa Tosetti, author of Living the Savvy Life and a self-defense class by Paul Tosetti and Tim Loui of in Foster City.

The organizers were inspired to start the conference by what they didn’t like at other health exhibitions: booths offering magic pills to make you skinny or have great relationships, Lawrence said.

“We want people to come away with a sense that they can consciously make choices to improve their health, personal happiness and financial situation,” she said. 

In addition to workshops on yoga, meditation and weight loss, there will be free tacos from Chipotle, chair massages and mini-makeovers.

The event runs from 10am to 4pm in the Lagoon Room of the William E. Walker Recreation Center.

Online registration is $15, including one breakout session. An all-day pass is $50.
