United Launches Non-Stop Service from SFO to DC

The service launched Monday.

United Airlines launched daily non-stop service Monday between San Francisco International Airport and Reagan Washington-National Airport.

The inaugural flight was scheduled to depart SFO at 1 p.m. and arrive in Washington, D.C. at 9:17 p.m.

The return flight was set to leave Washington at 8 a.m. and arrive at SFO at 11:05 a.m.

"We are extremely excited United has selected SFO for its new non-stop service to Washington-National," said SFO Airport Director John Martin.

"This new flight will provide our passengers with direct and easy access to our nation's capital," Martin said.
