IHOP Restaurants to Serve Free Short Stacks on National Pancake Day

Eaters asked to make donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

IHOP restaurants around the country will serve free short stacks of pancakes on Tuesday as part of National Pancake Day.

Participating IHOP restaurants, including the one in Foster City on 531 Foster City Boulevard, will serve the free pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Those eating them will be asked to make a voluntary donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

The chain began the tradition in 2006, and claims to have raised nearly $8 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates.
