Foster City Tech Has Among Bay Area's Happiest Workers

E2open ranks among the Bay Area's best places to clock in for fourth straight year.

Foster City-based E2open's 105 or so employees don't have the world's cushiest gigs.

They are on a daily basis expected to perform advanced technical work against constant deadline pressure amid an intensely competitive environment.

But if the company's performance in a recent employee satisfaction poll is any indication, the cloud tech provider's workers are pleased as punch.

E2open was on Thursday named one of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area for 2012 by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.

The survey ranks the top 125 employers in five categories based on company size. E2open ranked15th among San Francisco Bay Area-based companies with 51 to 100 staffers.

The Bay Area's top employers were picked from a pool of 250 companies representing 12 counties.

Some 142,583 employees were asked to rate their company's policies, culture, compensation, and practices in a multiple-choice survey that was the basis for the rankings.

E2open polled among the Bay Area's best places to work for a fourth straight year.

The company employs 342 globally.
