Foster City Chamber Hosting Social Networking Workshop

First developed to help you get dates, social networking sites are now viewed within business circles to be just as important to boosting your bottom line.

The is hosting a workshop tonight that might just help you with the latter objective.

The event features marketing expert Michael Neuendorff, the “Growth Coach,” who will address some of the most common questions about how social networking sites such as Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter can advance your business objectives, such as:

  • What social media marketing really is and why use it
  • Introduction to social media channels and how to evaluate what's right for your business or organization
  • How small businesses are using these low-cost tools to gain visibility, develop relationships and drive sales and response

  • How to balance social media marketing with email marketing and your other marketing efforts.

The event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce (1031 E Hillsdale Blvd., Suite F), from 5:15 p.m to 7 p.m.  Admission to the event is $50 for the general public and $25 for chamber members. Gold Circle Members will be admitted free.
