County Closes Local Business Due to Health Code Violations
California Fresh, located in San Mateo, was closed on June 13.
The San Mateo County Health System this week announced the closure of California Fresh, located at 1952 S. El Camino Real in San Mateo, due to alleged health and safety code violations.
The business was closed June 13 for the following reasons:
5 Employees hands not properly washed and/or gloves used improperly
6 Lack of facilities or proper supplies to adequately wash hands
7 Potentially hazardous foods held at a temperature that encourages growth of harmful bacteria
