Cisco Looks to Scoop Up Award-Winning Foster City Startup
Silicon Valley networking giant announced its intent to acquire Foster City-based Truviso. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Silicon Valley networking giant Cisco Systems announced on Wednesday its intent to purchase Foster City based Truviso, Inc.
Truviso is an award winning startup founded in 2005 that specializes in network analytics.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of Cisco’s 2012 fiscal year.

Truviso was recognized as one of the nation’s top 50 startups by Information Week in 2009. It was also a finalist in 2009 American Business Awards in the computer software-server software category.
