Foster City Residents to Learn Secrets of Living a Long Life

Dr. Plasker, the health and wellness expert, will speak on the secrets of a '100 Year Life' Wednesday evening.

Best-selling author Dr. Eric Plasker will speak Wednesday evening in Foster City to offer the secrets to living a long life.

The event is sponsored by Dr. Rebecca Wilson and the Foster City Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Plasker will speak about his new book ‘The 100 Year Lifestyle,’ in which he discusses the secrets to maintaining good health for life.

According to Dr. Plasker, a chiropractor, the key to good health is a strong spine which can serve to repair other parts of the body.

Dr. Rebecca Wilson, herself a chiropractor, has been in Foster City for nearly 10 years and is hosting this event with the goal of making Foster City the healthiest city in the nation.

“Our lifespans are increasing,” said Dr. Wilson. “Soon we’ll be living for 90 or 100 years.”

“Dr. Plasker’s work centers on increasing the quality not just the quantity of years we live,” she added.

Dr. Plasker ran multiple chiropractic practices in Georgia before starting the Family Practice, an organization charged with expanding the reach of chiropractors.

The event, titled 'An Evening with Dr. Eric Plasker,' is being held in the Lagoon Room at the Foster City Recreation Center at 7 p.m. A question and answer session with Dr. Pasker will follow the main presentation.

The event is $10 per ticket. All proceeds will be donated to the Foster City Recreation Center.
