Foster City Residents Lose Power Thursday Night

Did your power go out Thursday night?

PG&E reported at least 55 customers in Foster City lost power Thursday night, for causes unknown at this time.

PG&E spokesperson Jana Morris told Foster City Patch the outage occured at around 9:53 p.m. She said restoral was not expected until at least 2:45 to 3 a.m.

However, according to Patch readers who have commented on our Facebook page, it appears the outage may have been more widespread.

Facebook fan Carlos Chapeton said the Avalon Apartments also lost power, for about 30 minutes. Nancy Sirotin Charlow said Neighborhood One lost power at 8:45 p.m.

Christine Busse Tarkowski said several customers on Pelican Court lost power, also for about 30 minutes.
