PG&E Crews Will Vent Gas Lines this Afternoon from Belmont to San Bruno

From the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services:
PG&E has informed the Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services (OES) that Friday afternoon, crews will be venting natural gas to the atmosphere on Line 132 from Belmont to San Bruno.
This work and may result in residents smelling gas and hearing what has been described as a jet engine. The time and location of this work is summarized below:

Approximate Time: 2pm-6pm
Work Location: Ralston Ave. and I-280
Work to be completed: Venting of Natural Gas to Atmosphere
Depending on the location of gas venting and weather patterns, there may be a smell of natural gas. PG&E is taking steps to mitigate noise and odor however it is likely that the work will result in some noise and odor. Call PGE with questions or concerns about the smell of gas 24 hours a day at 1-800-743-5000 or call 9-1-1 immediately.
