Festival Will Go On, Rain or Shine

Organizers say that a little rain won't keep the Arts and Wine Festival away.

While the forecast may call for rain this weekend, organizers say the show will go on.

"Come rain, come shine, our annual Arts and Wine Festival and carnival will be in full swing," said Chris Messina, Chamber of Commerce President and CEO.

Rain is expected in the morning today, with widespread showers in the afternoon. Highs are expected to be in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

But organizers say the rain won't put a damper on the fun.

"Join us for a fun-filled weekend and celebrate Foster City's 40th Birthday!  Try taking a ride on the Ferris Wheel or the Zipper, try your luck at the Midway, wander along the rows of booths with their wide variety of arts and craft vendors, plus delicious food and drink," Messina said. "Then take time to enjoy the residents' art show, and our two stages with exciting music and dance performances."
