Shely Pack Dancers announces upcoming
dance show “Prime Time”.

Shely Pack Dancers present their annual dance recital entitled “Prime Time” at the Hillbarn Theater in Foster City. Performances are  Saturday June 23, at 7:00 PM and Sunday June 24, at 2:00 PM.  The show offers a variety of dance styles in a theme depicting prime time television shows from the 1950’s through present day.  Each routine is costumed in a wonderful array of colored satin and tulle, bedecked in sequins and rhinestones.  Come join the fun.  Tickets will be available at the door or by downloading the ticket form at www.shelypackdancers.com. Ticket prices are $25.00.

                                                   
Background of Shely Pack Dancers

The Shely Pack Dancers proudly lists as their accomplishments: a Miss Dance of America 2000; Mr. Dance of America 2003; Teen Mr Dance of America 2001 & 2006, and Jr. Mr. Dance of America 2009.

Shely Pack Dancers can be seen on Broadway, in National Touring Companies, music videos, television commercials, and professional ballet and modern dance companies. Shely Pack Dancer JP Viernes just completed a multi-year run in Billy Elliot in the touring Broadway show of the same name.  JP was cast in the title role of “Billy Elliot” performing in Chicago, Toronto, Los Angeles, and San Francisco with over 150 performances under his belt. In the few months before his retirement with the show, JP was joined by fellow Shely Pack Dancer and sister, Lexi Viernes who continues with the show. 

Another student, Kristin Oei, is currently appearing in Spiderman the Musical on Broadway.

Two students with the studio have won the Beach Blanket Babylon Scholarship for the Arts in San Francisco and a $10,000 prize for their dancing abilities.
