Critically Acclaimed Dance Company to Perform at Hillbarn
Diablo Ballet performances to be followed by interactive Q&A's with audience members.
A critically acclaimed Bay Area dance company will perform in Foster City later this month.
The Diablo Ballet, an innovative dance company that has performed internationally since its inception in 1993, will make its first Peninsula appearances March 30-31 at Hillbarn Theatre.
The Diablo Ballet will present their Inside the Dancer's Studio Series, performing works by distinguished choreographers from the Bay Area and beyond.

The program features the duet from Mercurial Manoeuvres, which will be performed under the direction of renowned British choreographer Christopher Wheeldon.
The program also features a presentation of Escaping Game, performed under the direction of K.T. Nelson, Oberlin Dance Collective of San Francisco's co-artistic director, and Back in the Day set to the music of Frank Sinatra, choreographed by David Fonnegra.

The performances feature live music under the direction of Diablo Ballet's Musical Director Greg Sudmeier.
Each program ends with an interactive Q&A with the dancers, choreographers and musicians.
Audience members are invited to meet the artists at a complimentary reception in Hillbarn’s lobby after the performances.
Dancers will be available to meet and have their photos taken with children and their parents for a Little Ballerina Tea in the Hillbarn courtyard after a 2 p.m. performance on March 31.
The Walnut Creek-based Diablo Ballet is among Northern California’s most prestigious dance companies, featuring an international roster of professional dancers from as far as Japan and Venezuela.
The Diablo Valley Ballet will perform at Hillbarn on March 30th at 8 p.m. and March at 2 and 8 p.m.
