Who's Who in Foster City: Patricia Player Maxwell

Name: Patricia Player Maxwell 

Age: Over 60 

Occupation: I am a Geriatric Care Manager. In my spare time I am a Rotarian and on the Board of Directors for the Chamber.  I also have a Nutritional Supplement business, so I keep quite busy.  I have a lot of energy. 

What do you enjoy most about working with seniors?  Giving them opportunities to do things, go places and have quality of life and do better with their medical care. See my web site www.maxwellseniorcare.com. 

What first brought you to Foster City? My husband's job. We came in from Saudi Arabia, where I had worked for many years. 

What is your best Foster City memory? There are so many but I love the parks waterways and the people who live here. 

How has Foster City changed over time? I have only lived here since 1996 but since being here I think, like every city, Foster City has had its ups and downs. Now with money shortages and the fact that Sacramento is requiring much more of our tax dollars, we are going to be unable to provide for as much as we used to.  Given all that, Foster City is a great place to live and we are in far better fiscal shape than many of our surrounding cities. 

If you could change one thing about Foster City, what would it be?  I am unsure of whether I would change much, but I would love to add a downtown. 

Giants or the As? I enjoy baseball but know very little about these teams, though keep interested as my husband follows the local teams. 

What is more beautiful, the Golden Gate or the Bay Bridge?  I love the Golden Gate Bridge.
