Spots Available for Vendors at Foster City Village Faire

It's a benefit for organization supporting seniors.

The Foster City Village Vendor Faire, to benefit the membership organization offering low-cost and discounted services to seniors, has a few spots remaining for vendors.

The Faire is scheduled for Friday, March 8 at the Foster City Community Center Wind and Port Rooms, located above the library at 1000 E. Hillsdale Blvd., second floor.

The cost is $240.00 and includes an 8-foot table and two chairs. Set up is 10 a.m. and take down is 2 p.m. Non-profit organizations can apply for a reduced rate. Light refreshments will be available.

Foster City Village joins a growing list of such projects around the nation in providing residents 50 and over with programs and services so that members can maintain vibrant, active and healthy lives, while remaining in their own homes and neighborhoods.

According to their website, “the Foster City Village is a volunteer, non-profit organization that will provide a variety of free, low-cost and/or discounted services from volunteers and vetted vendors, including Village BetterBuys, that will enable older adults to confidently and safely remain in their homes to ‘age in place’ with life quality.”

Sponsorships are also available at various levels from $500 to $5,000.
