Pet of the Week: Jynx of Foster City

For this week's Foster City Patch Pet of the Week, reader Holly Borghello submitted her Himalayan cat, Jynx.

"Jynx is not only our family pet, she is a rescue from the Peninsula Humane Society," Borghello said. "She was rescued from a Peninsula home where she was part of a hoard of 26 Himalayan."

At the time, Jynx was found in filthy conditions. She was very matted and had no apparent vet care. She was the last of the Himalayans to be adopted from the Humane Society.

"She has been with us for almost a year.  She is a happy well adjusted cat who is thrilled to be in a loving home," Borghello said of her cat.
