Meet a Farmer: Bay Area Bees

Each week, Stephen Dominguez interviews a different vendor at the new farmer's market at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center in Foster City.

Foster City is home to a  at the  (PJCC), 800 Foster City Blvd. in Foster City.

To give an up-close-and-personal view of the market, Foster City Patch will be interviewing some of the local vendors every Wednesday.

This week, we interviewed Tim Haas, owner of Bay Area Bees. While Haas works to help solve bee infestation problems on most days, he sells the sweet honey byproduct of his work on the side. His freshly harvested honey, honeycomb and hand cream has won several awards in county fairs.
