Thinking ahead to an end-of-the-summer August vacation, or what you're going to do for the Thanksgiving or winter holidays? Then these are dates you definitely need to know, if you have a child in the San Mateo-Foster City School District this coming school year.

- Labor Day Holiday: Monday, Sept. 3
- Staff Development Day (No School): Oct. 29
- Veterans Day Holiday (No School): Nov. 12
- Thanksgiving Break: Thursday & Friday, Nov. 22-23
- Winter Break: Dec. 21 - Jan. 4
- Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday + Staff Development Day (No School): Jan. 21-22
- Staff Development Day + Presidents' Day Holiday (No School): Friday, Feb. 15 and Monday, Feb. 18
- Spring Break: March 29 - April 5
- Memorial Day Holiday (No School): May 27
- Last Day of School: Thursday, June 13
