Foster City Soccer Team Gets Into the Spirit

Group makes cards for patients at the Veteran's Hospital.

Members of the Peninsula Thunder Under-12 girls' soccer team of Foster City may never meet the recipients of cards they made during a recent gathering.

That did not stop them from sharing their talents and good will for a good cause.

The Thunder created holiday cards that will accompany gifts from the San Mateo American Legion Auxiliary that will go to patients of the Veteran's Administration Hospital off Willow Road in Menlo Park.

The cards will most certainly cheer up and delight those who receive them from the Peninsula Thunder, with love.
