As the saying goes, the family that plays together, stays together.
That's just part of the philosophy behind the (PJCC) annual Family Health and Fitness Day.
Held this past Sunday, the fourth annual Family Health and Fitness Day featured live performances by groups such as the Monsoon Dance Company, which teaches weekly Bollywood dance classes at the PJCC; healthy and nutritious cooking classes for parents and kids; a farmers market; a family gym; bouncy houses for kids; free health checkups; and other fun, community-oriented activities. Kaiser Permanente and the Foster City Parks and Recreation Department were major sponsor of this year's event.
