Foster City 2013 National Champs
Two Foster City children won the 2013 National Championships and Junior Olympic Gold Medals in Chicago over the July 4th weekend. Rami Hindi and Marc Capobianco defeated their opponents to become National Champs in the Olympic Sport of Taekwondo. Kendall Won won a silver medal losing to his team-mate Rami who where in the same division. Lindsey Yee won a bronze medal after defeating all others except the World Champion.
This summer The Gold Medal Team of athletes ranging from 4 to 40 years old won medals at the prestigious 2013 USA Taekwondo State Championships. In fact, most of the others who won silver or bronze lost to a Gold Medal Teammate. The States are the qualifiers for the USA National Championships and Team Trials in Chicago.

Gold Medal’s competition team is completed by 5-time Olympian and World Champion Mike Swain who trains the future champions in the Olympic sport of Judo. The coaching staff is rounded out by National Champions Jason McEuin and Keshia Suhail.
